Hunan Zerui avslöjar 1800 grader -resistenta kiselkarbidfibrer, bryter globalt monopol

Hunan Zerui New Materials has revolutionized extreme-temperature composites with the debut of Zeralon3A and Zelramic300 fibers-China's first third-generation silicon carbide fibers capable of enduring over 1800℃. Unveiled at the SAMPE Beijing exhibition on June 18, 2025, these materials retain more than 80% strength retention under ultra-high temperatures, solving chronic challenges like microstructural degradation during prolonged heat exposure. By adopting an air-oxidation cross-linking process instead of costly electron-beam irradiation, Zerui slashed production costs while scaling output to metric-ton volumes. The fibers directly compete with U.S.-made Sylramic and Japan's Tyranno SA series, targeting critical applications in jet engine turbines, hypersonic aircraft thermal shields, and nuclear reactor components. Industry analysts hailed this breakthrough as a strategic triumph over foreign "chokepoint" technologies, positioning China for self-reliance in aerospace and energy sovereignty. Founded by Professor Huang Xiaozhong, Zerui driver Kinas största dopade kiselkarbidfiberproduktionslinje och håller 40+ Patent .
